Adaptations

I found this amusing.

I've seen some great movie adaptations of books, actually. Here are some that I think were done well:
  •  The Hunger Games
  • About a Boy
  • The Hours (maybe Michael Cunningham just adapts well to film?)
  •  Bridge to Terabithia
  • The Help
Hmmm, what have I missed?

  1. Fried Green Tomatoes. Much better movie than book.

  2. Elizabeth is right about Fried Green Tomatoes. Another great adaptation is Forrest Gump.

  3. Gosh, for some reason which I don't understand I never saw Fried Green Tomatoes! I need to put that on my list of DVDs to watch.

Forrest Gump, I loved the movie but haven't read the book, so I can't compare. And that one is definitely worth a re-watch with my boys, thanks for reminding me of it.
